Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using FAQFlow. By installing or using the FAQFlow Shopify app, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FAQFlow ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and merchants who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FAQFlow is a Shopify application that enables merchants to create, manage, and display a FAQ widget on their Shopify storefront. The Service includes a dashboard for managing FAQs, a customisable widget for storefronts, analytics on FAQ interactions, and (when available) AI-assisted FAQ generation.

3. Shopify Integration & Permissions

FAQFlow requires access to your Shopify store via the Shopify Partner API. We request only the minimum permissions necessary to provide the Service — including reading store metadata and writing pages/scripts to your theme. We do not access customer payment information, personal customer data beyond what Shopify provides for app functionality, or any data outside the scope of the permissions you grant at installation.

4. Account & Store Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify admin credentials. FAQFlow is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your account. You must not use the Service in any way that violates Shopify's Partner Programme Policies or applicable laws.

5. Free Plan & Paid Subscriptions

FAQFlow offers a free tier with limited features and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are processed through our third-party payment provider. You may cancel at any time from your FAQFlow dashboard; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use FAQFlow to publish misleading, harmful, or illegal content in your FAQs; attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service; scrape or extract data from the Service by automated means; or resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

FAQFlow and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FAQFlow and are protected by intellectual property laws. Your store content (FAQ text, categories, branding) remains your property. We do not claim ownership of any content you create using the Service.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. FAQFlow does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FAQFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these terms. You may terminate by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
